Rene-Gade Graphic Story

For Rene Rinnekangas’ pro model we wanted to create something special together. Rene’s grandmother was his biggest fan and he wanted to pay tribute to her with this graphic. He crafted a series of single-line drawings that we took and ran with to create the base graphic. Adding in the Finnish national flower, which was also his grandmothers favorite, was a nod to her and his roots. On the topsheet, we included the nickname she called him as a child, “Hellan Dura”, as a small misty detail, so that he can always ride with her.
