Go ahead, believe the hype
The Katana is a lightweight, hyper-responsive, game changer of a binding. Built on the surfy and playful AsymWrap platform and the locked-in hold of the AuxTech® strap package, the Katana is pure all-mountain performance. A team rider and in-house favorite, the Katana is cult classic thanks to the next level adjustability of PivotMount Max and its freakishly lightweight design.
Binding Riding Style
Built to maximize tweakability and a surfy board feel, our innovative AsymWrap platform started the conversation about how bindings can and should ride.
A Rome exclusive binding innovation, PivotMounts are small adjustable pieces that allow riders to move the position of their ankle straps on their boots. The higher up on your boot the ankle strap sits, the more power and turn initiation. The lower the strap goes, the more surfy and tweakable your riding will be.
PivotMount Max provides 8 different strap options per side of the ankle strap, 64 configurations total.
Designed so riders can adjust their highbacks to mirror the angle of their heelside edge for maximum power transfer.
Built so that riders can adjust the angle of their highback to mirror the angle of their lower leg for increased connection and stability.
Created to help fit a wider range of boot models and sizes.
Our bindings feature FastEntry Technology for super quick and easy entry into the binding. The pre-curved ladder on the ankle and toe straps are designed to pop open and help keep the straps out of your way while getting your boot into the binding. Strap in faster and easier thanks to FastEntry!
Our BombProof Buckles are a one-piece forged aluminum construction for better grip and durability. Built with wider stance teeth area for more engagement, this makes for easier ratcheting and increased protection from wear and tear to your ladder straps.

as the title say i m looking forward to try them on on my YES WORCA.
at the first glance, it look nice and well made, plus all the adjustment possible to be made to dial the bindings to perfection for your riding.
Can t wait for the first snow to come!!!!
Done 500 days on these no issues, not had to replace a single part they look like they're a month old with just surface scratches. Great binding that can do anything!
I love these bindings and everything about them apart from one small(er) gripe.
The footbed on L/XL size is a little to short. I have the Libertine in size 12.5 and the footbed while it does still work is borderline to short for such large boots. Rome if you're reading this please make it a little longer! 1 star deducted because of this.
Everything else is just perfect. The straps are out of this world. I mean you don't even feel them on your boots but they lock you in so nicely. Then there are all the adjustments. Oh man are these bindigs nice! Make them longer and I'll switch all my bindings for Romes!
Worth every dollar
This binding really can handle it all when paired with a stiff boot like the K2 Thraxis I ride. The customizable positioning of the heel strap adds great versatility and really allows you to dial your fit to how you like to ride. Want more control? Just raise the heel strap up. Need it looser like I prefer? Just drop it down. Want it a little more loose on one side and supportive on the other? Run it asym. This binding just has the options to keep just about anyone happy. I've taken this off everything from rails to ice to big kickers without a complaint. Some people say that these bindings are heavy but they appear light to me and were easy to transition to from my Burton Malavita bindings. I'd recommend these to any hard-charging all mountain freestyle dude or park rat, and there's enough here that I'd feel comfortable using them for freeride as well.
