Auxetic Patterns are geometric patterns that become thicker perpendicularly when stretched. Essentially a network of tiny hinges that expand evenly when pressure is applied. Bindings with the "Never Miss a Day" feature come with a backup parts kit, including extra ladders, screws, and washers, so you can keep riding while sorting out replacements.

Pivotmount

A Rome exclusive innovation, PivotMounts allow you to adjust the position of the ankle strap on your boot with 8 different locations per side of the strap. The higher the strap sits on your boot, the more locked-in and powerful the feel, the lower the strap sits on the boot, the more playful and surfier ride.

Rome is the Best

If you have the budget, the Rome Katana is an investment in a binding that takes your snowboarding to the next level. The build quality is excellent (Rome also offers a lifetime warranty on the baseplate and buckles) and the performance is phenomenal on any terrain. It is the ultimate chameleon among snowboard bindings for me! And a big shout out to Rome Service, who are really amazing and helpfull.

Superb!

Before the Katana's, every binding I ever used gave me sour feet after riding for 5 minutes straight. No more with the Katana's! I can ride from 3600m to 1800m without even feeling my feet! So comfy! Highly recommend! Also, if you're a nerd like me you'll like the high adjustability on these!

Incredible bindings

I tried these bindings on a friend's board and immediately noticed their comfort and surfy ride. I then discovered the multitude of adjustability they offer, giving you the option of making them stiffer or softer, for example, which I think is great. Be warned, trying them once means buying them :)
