Sure, we all have our Vices; for some it’s locked in front boards, others can’t stop ollieing rollers, even some folks like to get up early and pillage fresh corduroy. Versatility comes standard when you pair the surfy feel of our all-new AsymWrap platform with the locked in hold of UltraLight Ankle Straps and ProGrip Toe Straps with a medium flexing highback. Whatever your habit, the Vice is recommended by 10 out of 10 shop kids to help keep you tweaking and slashing.
These bindings are seriously amazing. They feel great after full days of hitting the mountain, whether the park, pow or whatever. The artifact colorway is so nice looking and matches amazingly with my Lobster Halldor Pro! Love all the customization you get plus these cushion so damn well! Get these bindings!
I purchased these bindings for my Salomon Dancehaul. They are playful, but stiff enough when you want them to be. They are highly adjustable and have a lot of tech built into a binding at this price point. I would highly recommend.
The Rome Vice Bindings are absolutely amazing! Easy to install, easy to adjust! AND very comfortable! Slapped em on my Agent board, great setup!
Trickle down katanas. Love the Vice.
Minus one star for the strap adjustment latch. It is super cheesy. After a few adjustments, the pin is bent an about to break.
Minus one star for the weight. These things are tanks.
Minus on star for the finish. After 3 days on the mountain, the finish on the high back had started peeling off.
For the price, they should give you metal ratchets and the Aux Tech heel strap, rather than having to fork out another $70.
I own a pair of the Vice and the Katana, both have a descent feel other than being super heavy, I recently swapped out all 3 of my boards to Union and could not be happier. The new Atlas is solid for freeriding and the Falcor is my go to for all mountian/freestyle.
Bent Metal also make a much higher quality binding. Especially the ratchet system.
Built to maximize tweakability and a surfy board feel, our innovative AsymWrap platform started the conversation about how bindings can and should ride.
A Rome exclusive binding innovation, PivotMounts are small adjustable pieces that allow riders to move the position of their ankle straps on their boots. The higher up on your boot the ankle strap sits, the more power and turn initiation. The lower the strap goes, the more surfy and tweakable your riding will be.
PivotMount offers 4 different positions of ankle strap placement per side of the strap, 16 total configurations are possible.
Designed so riders can adjust their highbacks to mirror the angle of their heelside edge for maximum power transfer.
Created to help fit a wider range of boot models and sizes.
