Pivotmount Max
A Rome exclusive binding innovation, PivotMounts are small adjustable pieces that allow riders to move the position of their ankle straps on their boots. The higher up on your boot the ankle strap sits, the more power and turn initiation. The lower the strap goes, the more surfy and tweakable your riding will be.
PivotMount Max provides 8 different strap options per side of the ankle strap, 64 configurations total.
Highback Rotation
Designed so riders can adjust their highbacks to mirror the angle of their heelside edge for maximum power transfer.
Highback Canting
Built so that riders can adjust the angle of their highback to mirror the angle of their lower leg for increased connection and stability.

Amazing binding!!! Adjustability is just insane. Allow me to deeper my carves in the grooms and increase mu confidence on high speeds.
I bought the CLEAVER a few weeks ago to install on a carving board. I was really curious to test with all the adjustments. I was PLEASANTLY surprised!! The damping, the perfect fit of the 2 straps and the fully adjustable highback will probably mean that I will sell the first pair of carbon bindings (competitor brand) that I have on my main board to buy a second pair of CLEAVER. I 100% recommend these bindings and the quality is great!!
Due to the flex of the ankle strap the stiffness is lost on toeside, too much flex for the rated stiffness of the rest of the binding, pretty disappointing.
After my friend bought a pair of Clever bindings and let me try them I literally went right home and ordered these. Along with the 154W Gangplank (after riding my other friends 148 Gangplank) I just had to get one. I'm always impressed with the product quality and now I'm becoming even more impressed with their services. Timely responses with a certain voice that just gets you stoked to receive your goods. There's a real good chance I order some soft goods after this to rep Rome around VT!
These bindings are great! They are by far the best performing and most versatile bindings I've used, both in and out of the terrain park. I've run into two small issues but Rome sent replacement parts with no questions asked, which is great considering the premium price of this product. I strongly recommend these bindings and highly recommend Rome as a company that stands behind its products.
